What’s the deal with all these loud motorcycles / choppers / bobbers / whatever you want to call them? I’m starting to get annoyed off at the sheer abundance of these morons and their loud pipes.

Okay, having fun with the bike during the day, that’s cool. But 6-7am in the morning? 12am at night? I am having this issue with these guys going up and down the street EVERY DAY at my current house and at the new house which is being worked on right now.

Any ideas on how to make them stop? Perhaps flood the street with a bunch of nails?

How come it seems like these guys never get any tickets for their DB level?!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention earlier, but my friend Mark from Fatlace was setting up the drift course yesterday for Motoring J Style 2008 and there was an unfortunate accident.

Hooray, Motoring J Style 2008 is finally here! I have been looking forward to hitting this event all week because I know there is going to be a bunch of badass cars displayed at the venue. It’s about 7:20am right now and I am just packing up my camera gear to head out pretty soon to meetup with Henry and his Supermade S13 of doom.

I am going to be taking a bunch of shots through out the day so be sure to check back later for those Motoring J Style 2008 pictures!

On a side note, what the hell is going on with the weather? Of all days to there be a 30% chance of rain it has to be today? It’s almost June!

There has been some discussion on online forums about the presence of the new Nissan GTR at Motoring J Style. I sent an email to David earlier today and he confirmed that the new Nissan GTR will be at Motoring J Style 2008 courtesy of Nissan North America.

A lot of people have been asking me where I am going this weekend because there are quite a few things going on. It seems like there are several meets and several organized events. The two I was debating between were Motoring J Style 2008 and the JDM Theory Bay Area BBQ (which is also a fund raiser for a youth basketball team). I had the pleasure of meeting some of the boys basketball team last weekend and they are really a handful! But, the point is that they are good kids and I hope they get everything they are looking for including the new uniforms they are after!

But, let’s make it official. I will unfortunately not be able to attend the JDM Theory BBQ/fund raiser for several reasons which I will not bore you with.

Motoring J Style 2008 looks very promising with a day jam packed of classic J cars, drifting, rally racing demonstrations, a swap meet, and more! There will be quite a bit of media in attendance and some big named vendors will be attending including Five Axis with their Lexus ISF and several other projects they have done with Scion.

If you come to the event, entrance is a very reasonable $20.00 at the gate for spectators and the event hours are from 9:30am to 5:00pm. For more information on Motoring J Style 2008, please visit www.motoringjstyle.com.

P.P.S. I sure am glad that we are beginning to have some events up in the Bay Area. We all know that the Bay Area doesn’t have a huge car culture like say Southern California but all these events popping up like Motoring J Style 2008 and JDM Theory might change things!
